Hello friends and happy Thursday! I hope y’all are having a great week. I know the title of this post may sound a little silly, but I just thought it was very appropriate 🙂 So I was putting this outfit together. I absolutely loved the combination. I looked in the mirror and my first thought was, “I definitely look like a Starbucks iced coffee” haha. I immediately knew that when I shot this look, I had to have an iced coffee in the photos with me. Fast forward to shooting this look, we went to one of my favorite locations and I then realized that I even matched the location! So, I call this my “Starbucks Iced Coffee Look”. I absolutely adore the khaki and olive green combination and fell in love with this look before I ever realized that I literally look like a walking Starbucks drink 🙂
Now for a little bit about the look! Last year I had a light brown paper bag waist skirt that was amazing! I got soooo much wear out of it, especially while transitioning into fall. When I saw this new one come in for this year, I immediately added it to my cart and purchased it. I’m telling y’all, a skirt like this will be your favorite piece while transitioning. I also love it paired with a simple tee to make it more appropriate for the current weather and can’t wait to pair it with cardigans once it cools off. This skirt is only $55 and runs TTS (wearing the XS). It’s so adorable and the definitely a closet staple.
Next up is this cardigan!! Y’all, I’m obsessed! I love olive green so much right now. I feel like every other piece I buy is olive green. I also adore a good cable knit cardigan. This one delivers each of those. It’s the cutest thing and under $50! It runs TTS (wearing the XS). I simply could not say enough good things about this one. The quality is impeccable. I have already paired 10+ looks up with this one piece to wear in the upcoming weeks.
And lastly to mention is my new circular tote (the Marla Stitched Circle Bag). I actually picked it up last weekend and love it so much. When I first saw it, I literally thought it was going to be around a $200 bag. Nope, this cutie is only $88! And it’s huge! It literally holds so much. I love it because it reminds me of my favorite Clare V. Alice bags that I carried all summer long. They’re circular and about the same size. This one, however, is definitely a fall bag. It almost has a faux suede type feel to it. I love the lace-up details around the bottom half and especially the gold handles! It also has a longer strap to carry it on your shoulder. It zips up, has an inner pocket and is just overall so spacious. It comes in a few other colors AND a smaller size as well. I’m SO pleased with this one.
