Hello friends! I hope y’all are having a great week so far. After a super busy yet fun Easter weekend, Madeline and I decided to slow down a little yesterday and take things easy. But today, it’s back to a busy morning of tackling to-dos. However, this afternoon, we plan to spend some time outside and soak up the gorgeous sunshine. We simply cannot wait for pool days! Madeline has been asking me everyday if it’s warm enough for the pool yet 🙂
Speaking of all things spring, today I’m sharing another spring look from our recent trip to Charleston, SC. This look is definitely one of my favorite looks of the season for many reasons. I don’t know about y’all, but I love a good skort!! When it looks like a skirt from the front and shorts in the back/underneath, I know that I’m set to do pretty much anything. Skorts are amazing, especially for mom life and are also great for dressing up or casualing down. You can wear them for everyday (especially those warm summer days) for running errands, they’re perfect for a summer cookout, dress them up with heels for a night out, etc. Skorts are basically the best thing ever created haha. When I found this pretty pastel pink skort, I was immediately obsessed! It’s a stretchy, comfortable material, under $100 and runs TTS. Oh and it also comes in four colors! I’m so crazy about it that I purchased it in three out of the four colors haha. I just love the asymmetric hem. And since it’s solid, there are so many styling options for this one. It’s also great to coordinate looks with your little one(s), if you appreciate a good mommy and me styling like I do. I simply cannot say enough good things about this skort. Trust me when I say that you need it in your life 🙂
I also found some of the best little pieces for Madeline for spring from H&M. This top is one of them. It’s another one that is so great, that I got it in three colors for her! I’m always looking for pieces that are comfortable for playing and doing everything a four-year-old loves to do, all while being super cute. This top is one of those pieces! It comes in red, yellow and navy as well and is under $10. This skirt is also too precious for words. I love that it has an adjustable waist band.
