Hey friends and happy Thursday! We made it to the beach last night, and Madeline is so excited! We’re just here for a few days, but definitely going to soak up every second. The beach is my happy place, and I can tell Madeline feels the same. We’re on St. Simons Island which is another beach that holds a special place in my heart. My sister got married here this past March. Planning her wedding for her, I learned so much about this place and absolutely fell in love with it.
Also, I can’t believe it’s August!!! Where has the time gone?! I feel like the pace picks up so much this month. School begins, activities begin, a lot of fun things are in the plans for Something Delightful this month and much more! I also like to share transitioning my wardrobe for the upcoming months. With that, I’m on the look for neutrals and all the fall hues. Pieces that you can style now and style again with layers once the cooler weather arrives. I get so excited for booties, cardigans, boots, chunky knits and more, even through it’s still pretty hot out and we have a little while until fall. But It’s August 1st, which means October 1st is just two months away, and that means fall will be here before we know it.
Anyways, today I’m sharing this absolutely darling ruffle top. Being a light beige, I think it’s just the absolute perfect transition top. You can easily style it with white jeans and sandals for now. And pair it with jeans and booties as I have it here to transition into fall once later August/September arrives. It also comes in black, runs TTS, is under $50 and is currently stocked in every size.
Also, these booties were probably my favorite purchase from the NSale. They are sold out, but Nordstrom told me they will be re-stocked once the sale ends. I know they won’t be on sale still, but if you love them and really want them, there will be another chance to get them for fall. I also love this similar pointed toe style thats a fraction of the price!
And lastly, Target is getting in so many cute things right now!!! I have a handful of purchases to share next week, but Madeline is wearing one of her new pieces here. I just love this little floral, ruffle dress. Sizing tip: it does run large! She’s normally a 4T, and I got her a 3T in this one. Such a precious transition piece for girls! Her quilted glitter sneakers are part of the NSale and still in sock.
I hope y’all have a great Thursday! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Delightfully Yours,
