Mommy And Me Style: How To Style Overalls

Hello and happy Friday, friends!!! I am so excited to be sharing a really fun styling with y’all today 🙂 Madeline has always been a huge fan of overalls. She likes to call them her “farmers outfit” and absolutely loves wearing them in the fall (she’d wear them in the heat of the summer if I let her haha). But I’ve never owned a pair for myself (well, maybe when I was five lol). But with her love for hers, I really wanted a pair for myself as well. I had looked at several pairs on Nordstrom, Madewell and a few other sites but was never able to find a pair I felt that I would like (and could not justify paying $100+ for them).
I found Madeline these adorable (and affordable) ruffle overalls from Target. She just loves them, and so do I 🙂 After I found these for her, I was determined to hunt down a pair for myself. I was browsing Old Navy and ended up seeing this pair I now own. They were on sale and super affordable, so I decided to give them a try. I honestly felt like I wouldn’t like overalls, but I tried these on and instantly fell in love with them! Like I mentioned, this is my first pair, but I’ve heard from several others that these resemble the $100+ Madewell pair! Needless to say, I could not be any more pleased with them. They zip up on the side for closure and are just all around amazing. I also love that they come in both regular and petite. I ended up loving the 2 petite for myself, and I’m 5’2.
I also wanted to mention our leopard shoes as they are an exact mommy and me pair. I had been on the hunt for the perfect pair of leopard mules for fall and found these. They’re currently 40% off!! I went with my regular size and love the fit. And in the suggested items on the sidebar were Madeline’s precious little leopard bootie sneakers that I just LOVE! The glitter detail on the back makes them oh-so fun! She loves them!
