Workout Favorites

Happy Thursday, Friends!  Today I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite things to workout in/with & a few things that are on my wish-list!  I have always had a deep love for walking/running.  I would run all. the. time. before I had Madeline.  One of my goals for this year is to grow that love once again and get back into not only a healthy routine but also a healthy mindset.  Of course I was pumped at first, but what really got me going was purchasing my Fitbit Flex.  It has truly gotten me into the best routine, but what’s even better is that I’m excited about it!  For one, I think it’s such an accomplished feeling knowing that you’ve reached your daily goal with your steps.  But I have just thoroughly enjoyed it.  I have also been so fortunate to be a part of weekly challenges with Jaclyn and some of her friends, and that has definitely encouraged me as well.  But overall, my walk has become one of my favorite parts of the day!  Madeline loves the fresh air, so she is usually a happy camper going along for the ride.  Over the past few months, it has been so much fun to see my daily walking routine become longer as I’ve added new routes to our walk (increasing my steps).  We are usually able to walk a few miles. I also joined a gym that has a walking track, and we enjoy this for the days that have been rainy or too chilly to walk.  But overall, I have felt SO much better, mentally and physically.  It has also encouraged me to change my eating habits and take more interest in what I’m putting into my body.
I say all of this because it really is a process.  We all know the saying, “where there’s a will there’s a way.”  I think that is so true to getting into taking better care of your body.  I had a will to, and my Fitbit flex created a way.  And it all kind of just took off from there.  Since I have gotten into this new routine, it seems like I am in workout wear half of my day (if not more).  I loveeee workout clothing, and have accumulated quite a few “cute” pairs of sneakers 🙂  I just wanted to share a few above that I have (and love!) and want.  The gray pair shown above is my all time favorite pair of sneakers!  Seriously, they are so comfy.  And the Zella leggings are amazing!  I have been wanting a S’well bottle for quite some time now.  They are suppose to keep cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot drinks hot for up to 12 hours.  I am also currently obsessed with the Kate Spade athletic wear collection!  The little bow details are absolutely too cute.
Lastly, I am in the market for a jogging stroller!  If any of you mamas out there have some recommendations, I’d love to hear!  I have heard great things about Baby Jogger and Thule.  Any suggestions?
